MOSCOW, August 8 (RIA Novosti) - New helicopters and modernized combat planes will be on exhibit at the MAKS-2005 air show in Zhukovsky in the Moscow region at the end of August.

Russian Industry and Energy Minister Viktor Khristenko told a news briefing Monday that civilian aviation would not exhibit its innovations at this year's show.

Khristenko said the "commercial budget" would fund the show.

"The total turnover of MAKS-2005 aggregates about $12 million. This amount will be covered from commercial sources," Khristenko said.

The minister said MAKS-2005 would represent 520 Russian and 134 foreign firms, filling all the show's pavilions, and 2,000 journalists were accredited to cover the show.

"The air show arouses great interest," he said.
