MOSCOW, July 29 (RIA Novosti) - The Russian Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation has announced the 5th contest for the Golden Idea national award.
The contest will bring about the most favorable conditions for the further development of Russia's military and technical cooperation with other countries, head of the service Mikhail Dmitriyev said.
He also said the contest allows companies and experts involved in the design, production, and export of weapons and military equipment to present their achievements.
The results of the contest will be announced by December 10, 2005.
