MOSCOW, March 16 (RIA Novosti) - Within two to three weeks the government is going to fix the framework terms for selling the package of Silovye Mashiny.

"I think it will take two to three weeks to set the framework terms", Economic Development and Trade Minister German Gref told journalists in Moscow. "After that, participants in the deal will decide".

Mr. Gref noted that sale of the Silopvye Mashiny package to the Siemens company has "some problematic aspects", on which relative agencies are now working.

"We are trying to find approaches to them", he said. "If we do, the terms will be proposed to the participants. If we don't, changes will have to be made in legislation".

Asked about the second claimant to the package, the Basic Element company, Mr. Gref said: "I don't care who buys it".

In his opinion, the government should minimally intervene in the sale of private property. Simultaneously, he noted that, if a Russian company buys Silovye Mashiny, the mechanism of the deal will be simpler and no changes will have to be made in legislation.

In 2004 summer the Silovye Mashiny owner holding Interros and Siemens announced agreement to set up a joint venture, whose authorized capital will consume about 71 percent of the Silovye Mashiny shares.

The Siemens' application to buy 71 percent of the concern is in consideration by the Federal Antimonopoly Service. Earlier, its head Igor Artemyev did not rule out that the FAS may take a negative decision on the deal.

The Silovye Mashiny concern unites the Leningrad Factory, Elektrosila factory, Kaluga Turbine Factory, turbine blades factory, Energomachexport company.
