In comparison with July, in August the import-export balance subsided by 1,485.33 million dollars.
The import of foreign cash in August was 1,956.14 million, export 136.81 million dollars.
In the total amount of Russia's July foreign cash import, dollars totalled 1,649.58 million (2,900.14 million in July), euros (in terms of dollars) 303.12 million (523.37 million), other currencies 3.45 million (7.15 million).
In the total amount of exported currency, dollars accounted for 26.21 million (119.18 million in July), euros 8.03 million (5.23 million), other currencies 2.58 million (1.59 million).
This year the export of foreign cash from the Russian Federation exceeded import in only January and February: in the end of these months the balance was negative - 564.73 and 459.25 million (in terms of dollars). The positive balance's maximal size was registered in July, coming up to 3,304.66 million (in terms of dollars).
