MOSCOW, April 29 (RIA Novosti) - The gold and hard currency reserves of the Russian Federation as of April 23, 2004 amounted to $82.8 billion, against $83.2 billion on April 16, 2004.

This information was reported in a press release that RIA Novosti received on Thursday from the foreign and public relations department of the Bank of Russia.
