    The day before, the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) supported the proposal to expand the list of banned toxic substances by adding four families of chemicals, including Novichok, which was used in the alleged poisoning incident in the UK city of Salisbury.

    The Russian representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is holding a press conference at the Twenty-Fourth Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWP).

    The ongoing session of the conference of the OPCW member states began in The Hague on Monday and will last through Friday.
