The most popular cryptocurrency Bitcoin on Wednesday updated the historical record of $10,750 on Bitstamp Exchange.

During the trades on November 29, the cost of Bitcoin is approaching a new historical mark of 11 thousand dollars.

A number of countries have already opened their markets for cryptocurrencies. The Russian Central Bank is against using them to settle currency transactions and equating them with foreign currencies. The regulator sees in the cryptocurrencies signs of a "financial pyramid."

Bitcoin has increased more than 10-fold in value in 2017, making it the largest gain of all asset classes.
