MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The issue of expanding the share of national currencies in Russia-Turkey trade is not on the agenda at present, but there are no obstacles for it, a source in the Russian government told reporters Monday.
"As far as I know, we don't have the issue on the agenda with Turkey," the source said when asked about the possibility to expand the share of national currencies in bilateral trade.
"As regards the use of national currencies, there are no legislative, legal or technical restrictions. All depends on economic expediency. We virtually have no obstacles," he said.
