The agreement of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) member states on oil production freeze will come into effect after an official organization's summit in the Austrian capital of Vienna in November, a source in Algerian delegation told Sputnik on Wednesday.

ALGIERS (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, media reported that the OPEC states reached an agreement to freeze daily oil output.

"After [OPEC's] meeting in Vienna [on November 30]," the source said on condition of anonymity, speaking about the terms of agreement's implementation.
