    Tunisia Interested in Emulating Russia's Fight Against Terrorism

    Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui said that Tunisia is interested in using Russia’s experience in the fight against terrorism.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) Tunisia is interested in using Russia’s experience in the fight against terrorism and is grateful to Russia for the fight against terrorism, Tunisian Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui said Monday.

    “In regard to using Russia’s experience in fighting terrorism, then obviously this topic is on the agenda. We believe that Russia’s experience in this area is successful and we’re interested in using such experience to reach the goals of stabilizing our country,” Jhinaoui said during a joint press conference in Moscow with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

    The Tunisian foreign minister also expressed his gratitude to Russia in its fight against threats of terrorism in Tunisia.

    “I would also like to thank Russia for the support that it has given us in the fight against terrorist threats,” Jhinaoui added.
