    Patriarchal press service head Alexander Volkov called the meeting between Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kirill and head of the Roman Catholic Church Pope Francis "a parity meeting on equal terms."

    WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The preparation of the meeting between Russian Orthodox Church Patriarch Kirill and head of the Roman Catholic Church Pope Francis was conducted in an amicable way, patriarchal press service head Alexander Volkov said Friday.

    “It’s a parity meeting on equal terms. There were no arguments over the meeting preparation,” Volkov told journalists.
