Just Some Ordinary Terrorists: Military Action Strips Daesh of Mystique
The actions of Daesh (ISIL/ISIS) may help bring about the terrorist group’s own destruction, according to Daily Express.

A string of terrorist attacks across the globe perpetrated by Daesh militants actually reminded Moscow and the West who their real enemy is, according to Sir Tony Brenton, former UK ambassador to Russia.

"Our position was originally 'Assad must go and then we’ll talk' but now it is 'we’ll talk, but Assad must go eventually'," Brenton told the Daily Express, pointing out how the West has softened its stance on Syria.

The former ambassador also added that the common fight against the terrorists waged by the UK and Russia may be a sign of the easing tensions in relations between the two countries.

"Gradually the freeze is beginning to thaw. I would expect that to continue, although on the other hand, sanctions are going to stay on, at least for the next few months," Brenton remarked.

Earlier this month, the UN Security Council adopted a resolution on Syrian settlement, which reaffirmed the goals of the Vienna agreements to bring the entire spectrum of the political groups in the crisis-torn country to the negotiating table and stated that the next round of the talks would take place in January, 2016.
