MOSCOW (Sputnik) Russia, India agree that the fight against terrorism is possible only through joining of efforts worldwide without double-standard policies, a joint Russian-Indian statement said Thursday.

"While condemning decisively terrorism in all its forms, the sides noted that the effective fight against this global threat is possible only by joining the efforts of the entire international community without discrimination and double standards, and with strict compliance with provisions of relevant UN Security Council resolutions," the joint statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said.
