LONDON (Sputnik) – On Friday night, extremists wearing explosive belts and carrying automatic weapons attacked several sites across Paris, killing 129 and injuring hundreds of people at restaurants, the Bataclan concert hall and in the vicinity of the Stade de France sports arena.
"We have increased intelligence sharing. All our agencies are working together, and the [UK] home secretary is in constant contact with our [French] minister of interior," Bermann told Britain’s Sky News channel, adding the countries wanted to boost their "resources" as well.
Asked how terrorists were able to get through after France stepped up security following January's deadly attacks on satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, the envoy said, "It is very difficult to follow everyone 24 hours a day," adding security services will do their utmost.
