NEW DELHI (Sputnik) – On Friday, attacks in the French capital occurred at six different locations, including the Bataclan concert hall and the Stade de France stadium. A total of over 200 people were injured in the series of attacks, and at least 150 people died.
According to local media reports, the attacks could be terrorists’ revenge for Syria, as Islamic State (ISIL) radicals have reportedly claimed responsibility for the violence.
French President Francois Hollande declared a state of emergency, closed the French border and ordered a mobilization of extra servicemen after the attacks
The attacks were condemned by many world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, US President Barack Obama and UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
