Egyptian Tourism Minister Hisham Zazou will visit Russia November 17-19 to discuss the situation of the Russian A321 passenger jet that crashed over the Sinai Peninsula on October 31, killing all 224 on board, Egyptian Ambassador to Russia Mohammed el-Badri told Sputnik on Thursday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – “November 17-19,” el-Badri said in regard to the minister’s arrival to Russia.

“The minister is currently in London. He is looking into the possibility of an unscheduled visit to Russia in order to discuss the situation around the Russian plane crash and to assure the Russian authorities in the safety of Egypt’s resorts,” a source in the Egyptian Tourism Ministry told RIA Novosti.
