MOSCOW, July 22 (RIA Novosti) - A bulldozer driver was shot dead after ramming into vehicles in west Jerusalem on Tuesday afternoon, injuring sixteen people, national media reported.
The Jerusalem Post said the driver, who managed to cover around 160 meters in a busy part of the city before being shot by a civilian and a border policeman, attempted to overturn a bus and smashed four cars, turning one of them over.
Police have called the incident a terrorist attack.
Eyewitnesses were quoted by The Jerusalem Post as saying the offender was wearing a white skullcap worn by Muslims.
The incident was similar to a bulldozer attack on July 2, in which three Israelis were killed before the Palestinian driver was shot dead.
