DUSHANBE, December 24 (RIA Novosti) - Nine people were killed and three seriously injured after a minibus collided with a train at a railway crossing in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, police said on Monday.
The minibus, carrying 15 people, hit the train some 500 meters from the city's central railway station, a spokesman said.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the minibus driver had illegally driven onto the rails.
