11:00 GMT 24.03.2019 (Updated: 19:38 GMT 19.10.2022) American mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Anthony Pettis defeated his compatriot Stephen Thompson by knocking him out in the main battle of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament in Nashville. The video of the decisive episode was published on the UFC Twitter account.
At the end of the second round, Pettis pushed himself off from the cage and delivered a fist kick to 36-year-old Thompson. This technique is known as "Superman punch".
