When choosing an aircraft seat, we often prefer to take the one by the window for a better view… The author of the following video, who traveled with a low-cost airline, was able to make some quick but essential repairs as well.

In this blood-chilling footage, recorded by a passenger on November 20, 2017, in Concepción, Biobío, Chile, a frame around a cabin window in a passenger plane can be seen coming completely loose. The author of the video published it to YouTube, questioning if there were any reasons to worry.

While some concerned users suggested suing the company, others noted how gently the passenger patted the frame back into place "so as to avoid a major catastrophe."
