Patriotic Squirrels Get Ready for the Fourth of July
17:00 GMT 08.06.2017 (Updated: 19:30 GMT 19.10.2022) These little rodents decided to get ready for Independence Day before the holiday rush starts. Watch them borrow American flags from a family’s front yard to decorate their nest.
The squirrels struggled for a while to get the flags off the sticks. As they have no pockets, the animals rolled the flags into balls and put them in their mouths before they scurried away.
