'Desert Hollywood:' Abandoned Set From Game of Thrones, Gladiator, The Mummy

This magnificent site known as “Hollywood in the Desert” is located at the Atlas Studios. Based in Ouarzazate, Morocco, it is considered the world's largest film studio if measured by acreage.

Dutch photographer Bob Thissen, 31, who visited the eerie gas station from the horror movie "The Hills Have Eyes" in Agadir, Morocco, also visited another abandoned set, which featured in hundreds of hit films and TV shows including such blockbusters as Game of Thrones, Gladiator, The Mummy, Ben Hur and The Grand Tour.
