18:00 GMT 02.03.2017 (Updated: 19:29 GMT 19.10.2022) A German “Jesus” got his huge cross stuck in an underground station’s ceiling as he was rising up an escalator.
The video captured by a passerby shows a man dressed as Jesus riding an escalator holding a massive cross, when it suddenly hits the roof. "Jesus" struggles a little before he manages to free his spiritual burden, but he can't keep himself from laughing. The man was taking part in a religious carnival that is traditionally held in Cologne and Dusseldorf leading up to Lent.
