A puppy fell into a 230-foot (70-meter) well in Turkey. Rescue teams struggled to get it out, so the poor thing was stuck for 11 days. It was given food and water to survive.

Kind-hearted students of the local Science and Tech school couldn't ignore the incident and developed a robotic arm to retrieve the animal. Now it's safe and sound: the fluffy pup received the name Kuyu, which means "well." It was adopted by the fire brigade that pulled him out.
