Frightened Birds Fill the Sky as Quake Rocks Nepalese Capital

Eerie footage was taken as the 7.9-magnitude earthquake rocked Kathmandu leaving more than 3,600 people dead across the region.

In the video hundreds (or even thousands) of birds suddenly filled the sky when the disaster hit the Nepalese capital.

The video begins with a peaceful scene showing an ordinary day in Kathmandu with blue skies and people chatting around. But this is the calm before the storm. As a powerful tremor strikes, birds fill the sky creating a cloud of darkness over the city.
