    During the quarantine measures, which lasted several months, the Russian president has held a series of addresses via video conference, concentrated primarily on the coronavirus and the economic situation in Russia.

    Russian President Vladimir Putin is delivering a televised address to the nation, which is set to focus on the preliminary results of the fight against COVID-19.

    Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that besides the coronavirus, the address will focus on the current state of the economy and "on all of us in general". 

    On Tuesday morning, Russia reported that there have been around 599,705 COVID-19 infections and 8,359 coronavirus-related deaths since the start of the outbreak.
