    The celestial phenomenon was spotted on Monday night at approximately 10:40 pm Krasnoyarsk Standard Time from several locations in the Krasonyarsk Krai in Russia's Siberia.

    A meteor lit up the sky in Krasnoyarsk Krai in Russia on Monday, swiftly flashing in the dark before disappearing near the horizon.

    The space body's collision with our planet's atmosphere was captured in Kansk by surveillance cameras. The video of the stunning phenomenon was uploaded on Russian popular social network vkontakte.

    According to social media users, the meteor was spotted from other areas as well, including Kurganinsky, Minusinsky and Karatuzsky districts.
