    The year 2020 apparently thought that the coronavirus pandemic – which has infected more than three million people, along with wildfires in Australia that killed over one billion animals, an invasion of locusts in Africa, and fires in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone were not enough for us.

    Black rain has been spotted in the Chuvash Republic in eastern Russia, local media say. The phenomenon, which has also been recorded in other parts of the country, caused panic among local residents, who said that it could be the result of chemical pollution. But meteorologists explained that the event occurred as a result of dust storms that rose up to the clouds and then formed into precipitation.
