Five people were wounded during a shooting incident in central Moscow on Thursday, the Russian Health Ministry said.
Earlier, the Russian Investigative Committee said that two FSB officers were seriously injured during the shootout on Bolshaya Lubyanka Street.
A suspected gunman was eliminated, the FSB said, adding that his identity was still to be determined.

“In the evening of December 19, 2019, a man, being near the FSB building on Bolshaya Lubyanka Street in Moscow, opened fire in the direction of law enforcement officers. As a result of the incident, one FSB officer was killed, another five people, including one civilian, received wounds of varying severity. The attacker was eliminated", Investigative Committee spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko said.
A blast was heard near the FSB headquarters on Lubyanka Street in central Moscow following the shooting incident which took place earlier in the day, Reuters reported, citing a witness.
No details have been provided so far.
