The three members of a clandestine Daesh cell planning attacks involving firearms and explosives have been detained in Russia's Rostov region, the Russian Security Service (FSB) announced on Wednesday.

The FSB has published video featuring the detention of Daesh suspects in Russia's Rostov region. The law enforcement officers have seized firearms, ammunition as well as the means of communication, such as mobile phones and electronic media containing Daesh propaganda from the suspects. The cell was guided by emissaries from Syria, the agency said, while the leader of the cell blew himself up to avoid being arrested.
