"The energy supply in Crimea is fully restored," Aksyonov, who is also the head of the republic, wrote in his Facebook blog.
Crimea was left without electricity on Friday afternoon for over an hour due to anomalous heat in the Kuban region that caused an emergency switch-off of a power transmission grid.
Aksyonov pointed out that the interruption of power supply to Crimea hadn't caused economic or social damage to the peninsula. Later, the restoration of energy supply to Crimea was confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Energy.
"Now 100 percent of consumers receive energy. The energy supply to all the consumers of Crimea has now been restored," the ministry said in a statement.
Crimea was left without electricity in November, after Ukrainian nationalists blew up pylons that support electricity lines from Ukraine. Following the electricity blackout, Crimea declared a state of emergency and switched to locally-based emergency power generation.
Following the outage, Russia expedited the construction of underwater power lines from the Krasnodar territory across the Kerch Strait and connected Crimea to its power grid in December. Two branches came online on December 2 and 15, with two more, expected to make Crimea completely independent from Ukrainian power supplies, to begin operating later in the spring.
