    Russian Tank Landing Ship Enters Sea of Marmara - Reports

    Russian tank landing ship Caesar Kunikov entered the Sea of Marmara on Friday morning, CNN Turk TV broadcaster reported.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The ship with the hull number of 158 left the Aegean Sea and entered the Dardanelles at 7:30 a.m. local time (4:40 GMT).

    Having completed a number of maneuvers, the ship continued forward and at 09:45 a.m. entered the Sea of Marmara.

    According to other media reports, the ship was heading to Syria.

    Caesar Kunikov is part of Russia's Black Sea Fleet, with its home port in the city of Sevastopol.
