MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian authorities are taking steps aimed at preventing the monopolization of the Internet, Putin said Thursday.
"We are trying to organize the work in a way that would not lead to any monopolization of the Internet, as it is impossible in principle. All decisions, which have been made and are enforced in our country, aim specifically not to allow this to happen," Putin said during a meeting of the Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights.
