Putin Submits Agreement on CIS Joint Investigation to Parliament
18:09 GMT 18.11.2016 (Updated: 18:10 GMT 18.11.2016) Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted an agreement on joint investigation and operational groups on the territory of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) for ratification to the Russian parliament, a document published on the lower chamber’s website Friday said.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The agreement will regulate cooperation in investigation of crimes between the CIS member states.
"[I] introduce for ratification the agreement on the establishment and work of joint investigation and operational groups in the Commonwealth of Independent States, signed in the village of Burabay (the republic of Kazakhstan) on October 16, 2015," the document said.
