Television watchers in Kamchatka were left in shock after local television started playing graphic porn movies, forcing horrified parents to hastily switch off their TV sets to keep their kids out of harm’s way, news agency Kam 24 reported.

A Rostelecom spokesman blamed it all on a technical glitch, insisting that the situation had been corrected promptly and assured  that such incidents would  never happen again.

However, many said that the pornographic flicks had been played on local television for “several days running.”

“Yesterday, as I was switching channels, I suddenly came come across a porn movie being played right on my TV screen,” a local woman complained on Facebook.

The whole incident came as a big shock to the parents of small children many of whom happened to be on their summer vacations and could have “enjoyed the show.”

Meanwhile, the local children’s ombudsman Viktor Tymentsev told Regnum that thus far he had not received any complaints from anyone.

Last year passengers collecting their luggage at Lisbon Airport were baffled the see graphic porn scenes being played over the airport’s TV screens.

In a similar incident a mum shopping in a Target supermarket in London with her baby in tow was left horrified after the store played graphic audio over the loudspeakers.
