    The sixth unit of Russia's Novovoronezh nuclear power plant has started producing electricity.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The sixth unit of Russia's Novovoronezh nuclear power plant, the most powerful unit in the country, has started delivering electricity to the country's energy system, Rosenergoatom Concern said Friday.

    The generation III+ reactor is the first in the world to be built by "post-Fukushima" security standards and does not require personnel to interfere in case of an emergency situation.
