MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia's newly established Presidential Council for Strategic Development and Priority Projects should report on its first results by the end of the year, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said at the Council's first session Wednesday.
"Specific projects should not only be selected by the end of the year, but also start to be implemented, and of course at least some initial results we identify for ourselves should be achieved. The more indicators there are, the easier it would be to get lost, or, on the contrary, hide behind them," Medvedev said.
He noted that specific, limited but clear targets should be identified within priority projects "so that everyone was clear what their area of responsibility is, what resources they have, and what results they are expected to achieve."
