MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Former Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin may take part in elaboration of the country's strategy for economic development after 2018, President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
"We have agreed that he will actively work in the presidential expert council, maybe he will be a deputy head of this expert council… He will concern himself with the issues related to strategies of development for the foreseeable future, after 2018 and in the long run," Putin said during his annual Q&A session.
Putin added that he and Kudrin did not meet each other as frequently as they both would like.
"I highly value his contribution to development of economy in the past, he definitely is one of very strong and useful experts," the president said.
