    A new explosion at a mine in the northern Russian town of Vorkuta killed six people and injured five more, a source in emergency services said Sunday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On Thursday, an explosion took place at the Severnaya mine in Vorkuta. There were 110 people in the mine at the moment of the incident. At least four of them were killed, while 80 had been rescued. The rest 26 people have not been found yet.

    "At of 03:35 local time [0:35 GMT] a new explosion occurred. According to preliminary data, six people were killed: five mine-rescue men and one mine worker," the source told RIA Novosti.
