A Boeing 737 airliner carrying 127 people is preparing for an emergency landing in the Russian city of Surgut, a source in the local emergency services said Friday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "A Boeing 737 en route from Yakutsk to Surgut is getting ready for an emergency landing, presumably due to an autopilot malfunction," the source told RIA Novosti.

The aircraft is said to be owned by Russia's UTair carrier.
