Poroshenko Alleged to Have Paid $2 Million Worth of Taxes in Russia in 2014
In August President Poroshenko signed a law obliging state servants to declare their property and income.

Andrei Portnov, who heads the Institute of Legal Reforms in Moscow, started his own investigation and found out that two Austrian companies, J B Park GMbH and Bogdan Holding GmbH, have one director, one address and, via a network of offshore firms, control the bulk of the confectionery, auto and agricultural assets owned by the Ukrainian president.

Portnov also found out that Poroshenko’s Austrian-based companies operate a web of smaller firms registered in Britain, Panama, Cyprus and other countries and earning millions of euros, none of which Poroshenko pays as a tax.

Portnov believes that Petro Poroshenko is now facing a private international probe into his financial dealings in offshore zones, tax evasion, legalization of shady earnings and unconstitutional power sharing plotted on EU territory.
