MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Shuvalov, who is first deputy chairman of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Local Organizing Committee Supervisory Board, said after a coordination meeting that the participants discussed the readiness of various facilities around the country to host the championships.
"We discussed the delays in construction of some facilities, but those are not critical," Shuvalov said.
"We realize that all deadlines will be met, and the [current] delays will not affect the fulfillment of Russia's commitments to FIFA."
