A total of 70 weapon units of the Baltic Fleet will be involved in the event, including T-72 tanks, Tochka-M missile systems, and Grad multiple rocket launchers.

The Tochka-M tactical missile systems and S-300 air defense systems will take part in a Victory Day parade in the city of Kaliningrad on May 9. A total of 70 weapon units of the Baltic Fleet will be involved in the event, the press office for the Russian Western Military District reported Friday.

"A large number of weapon units will take part in the parade, including T-72 tanks, Giatsint heavy caliber guns, Gvozdika self-propelled artillery guns, S-300 air defense systems, Tochka-M missile systems, and Grad multiple rocket launchers," the report read.

A T-34 Soviet medium tank will be at the head of the parade on Victory square. The legendary war machine will drive under its own power through the city streets.

In addition, visitors will have a chance to see the all-new remote controlled transport platforms Platforma-M, BTR-82A armored vehicles, and KamAZ-4350 and 43501 trucks.

The weapons and military equipment were prepared for the parade by the repair battalion of the fleet’s tank and vehicle regiment.

After a preliminary preparation the weapon units were transported to the Khrabrovo airfield in the Kaliningrad region where mechanics and drivers are trained.
