A Boeing-737 passenger jet with 64 passengers on board made an emergency landing in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don on Thursday morning, Donavia Airlines spokeswoman Inna Churlyaeva said.
According to Churlyaeva, the airliner took off from Rostov Airport for Moscow at 6:30 a.m. MSK (02:30 GMT). There were 58 passengers and six crew members on board the aircraft.
"The aircraft made an emergency landing because of the asymmetric flaps retraction," Churlyaeva said.
None of the passengers on board were injured during the emergency landing and they flew to Moscow on another company aircraft.
