Russia expects an independent and unbiased analysis of situation in Libya from the recently appointed UN envoy to the country, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Thursday.
"We will wait for the report of this special envoy on security to get a clearer picture of what is going on in the country, on the situation with refugees who are fleeing to neighboring states, and how it all looks in general," Lavrov told journalists in Moscow.
He added that ongoing discussions on closing Libyan airspace require a more detailed report on how it would be put into practice.
