The owner of a lynx, which was found near a waste bin at a plant in northwest Moscow earlier, has been found, a spokesman for the city's animal rights center said on Friday.
The head of the city's wild animal shelter said earlier on Friday the lynx which reportedly belonged to a private zoo was caught using a lasso by the center's employees when local residents called the police.
"They [the animal's owners] were walking it on a leash. The lynx broke free and ran away," the spokesman said.
