MOSCOW, April 25 (RIA Novosti) - Russia condemns the Monday terrorist attacks at an Egyptian resort and is prepared to build up international anti-terrorism cooperation, the Foreign Ministry said Tuesday.

Three successive blasts ripped through the Sinai resort of Dahab Monday at about 17:00 GMT the Red Sea and killed at least 23 and injured 62.

"We resolutely denounce these terrorist attacks in Egypt," spokesman Mikhail Kamynin said. "We express [our] condolences to the leadership of Egypt, the Egyptian people and all the relatives of the victims."

Kamynin said Russia was reiterating its position that it is prepared to build up interaction with Egypt in the fight against terrorism.

According to the ministry, a 30-year-old Russian man was killed and a 28-year-old Russian woman was injured in the bombings.

"Russian organizations in Egypt are doing everything possible to support their compatriots who were in the area of the terrorist attack, and to ensure the return of the injured Russian woman and the body of the Russian tourist as soon as possible," Kamynin said.

The spokesman also wished the quickest recovery for all those hurt in the blasts.

Egypt is a popular destination for Russian holidaymakers, who are attracted by its relatively low prices and winter sun.

Egyptian resorts on the Red Sea have been hit by terrorist attacks before. About 60 people were killed in Sharm el Sheikh in July 2005.
