    Black Lives Matter activists force Bratton out of office in NYC and the Movement for Black Lives releases their policy platform.

    On this episode of "By Any Means Necessary" host Eugene Puryear is joined by Kerbie Joseph of the Justice for Akai Gurley Family Coalition and a member of the Party for Socialism and Liberation to talk about the launch of the Occupation of City Hall Park in New York City demanding the defunding of the New York Police Department and the resignation of police commissioner Bratton, spoiler alert Bratton resigns.

    In the second part Eugene Puryear is joined by Michaela Brown of Baltimore Bloc and M Adams, Co-Director of Freedom Inc, to talk about the process of putting together the policy platform for the Movement for Black Lives as well as a look at some of the finer details of the platform.

    And later in "By Any Means Necessary" Scott Roberts from Color of Change talks about the Movement for Black Lives policy platform and its impact on local and national politics.
