Nice didn’t play it so nice

Over the recent month a furor of media has avalanched on this controversial swimwear. It all started back in mid 2000s when an Australian of Lebanese heritage Aheda Zanetti designed the swimwear. The suit firstly became a topic of debate in 2009 in Morocco where it was banned from one of the hotels’ pool areas for hygienic reasons. Fast-forward to Nice post July 14th terrorist attack and all of a sudden everything Muslim, including what people of Islamic faith wear to the beach, became a hot point. Tommy Tiernan, Robin Williams and Shazia Mirza deliver the funny, while Silvio Ferrari (Professor of law and religion at the University of Milan) shares his professional opinion.
