MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Le Pen stressed that she intended to place "national preference" regarding employment, adding that the revenue would be directed to benefit unemployed people.
"We will create a tax on any new contract with foreign workers," Le Pen said, as quoted by Le Monde newspaper.
Le Pen introduced her campaign program over the weekend in Lyon.
The first round of the French presidential election is scheduled for April 23.
Le Pen's pre-election promises resemble those of US President Donald Trump, who has repeatedly said that his priority is to return jobs and businesses to the United States and "hire Americans."
